Bruce Ahlberg

Bruce was born and raised in Minnesota. After high school he spent 2 years in the U.S. Army in Germany. He graduated from college with a degree in education.After college he attended a Bible institute for 2 years and then began working in Christian schools and served as a youth pastor and pastor of a small church. He went on his first missions trip in 1991, and God touched his heart regarding full-time missions. In 1998, he left his job to pursue God’s call to establish a discipleship school in Guatemala.Prior to YWAM, he worked full time with Dove International in Guatemala and Mexico for 7 years. He has 1 daughter, Danielle, who is teaching English at the University of Oregon. He enjoys motorcycling and is looking forward to the first ever Motorcyclist DTS.

Mark and Dayle Annand

Mark and Dayle are from Central Minnesota.They have 3 children: Alicia, Bailey and Christopher.After youth pastoring for nearly10 years they went on to work in evangelism for 3 years and then into missions full-time.They have also worked with children’s ministry, abstinence training, street teens and worship bands.They have collectively taken 17 short-term missions trips.Mark is an equipping evangelist and teacher.  He teaches on Evangelism during the DTS and helps train the students to perform dramas for the outreach phase.  He and Dayle also reach out to the homeless by providing food, clothing, medical assistance and have been able to help several addicts receive treatment in a rehabilitation center. Dayle is a homeschooling mom and also enjoys public speaking and women’s ministry.


 

Eder and Carolina Quiacain

Eder is from San Pablo La Laguna, Guatemala and Carolina is from Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.  Both completed the 2010 DTS at the Antigua YWAM base and joined the staff on February 17, 2011.  They will be working with the Kid's Club at the base as well as assisting with teams and other ministries we conduct.  We invite you to watch a video about their ministry. 

 


 

Kalissa Scott

Kalissa is from Washington State. She went to Pacific Lutheran University and graduated as a registered nurse. Kalissa first went on a short term trip to Guatemala while in high school and took the opportunity to return to Guatemala in 2009 for the DTS with the Antigua YWAM base. In June of 2011 she joined the Antigua staff and will be working with the DTS as well as helping with teams and other ministries that YWAM conducts.  

 


 

Ana Cabassa

 

Ana was born and raised in Ohio. She has been involved in World missions since 2009, when she went on her first missions trip to Venezuela. During her first overseas ministry experience, God placed within her a deep love for Spanish culture. Ana has taken various missions trips, leading children's ministries, discipling, and sharing the gospel through dramas and dance. She did her DTS in Boston, 2011. February of 2012, she joined YWAM Antigua staff. Her passions are Relationship Building, Evangelism, and ministry through Creative Arts.
